Check out Trustkill’s official press release ….

TRUSTKILL is proud to welcome Virginia’s ADVERSARY to the family! Their debut album "Singularity" will be in stores and online November 11, 2008.

"The riffs are to die for; sounding as though they were brought to life in Gothenburg, Sweden, when in actuality Manassas, Virginia is home to metal’s next big band. Their playing is at a fevered pitch, full of precision pounding. William Clapp’s scathing cynical vocal delivery is fuelled by politically and socially charged messages." - Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles

Hailing from Manassas, Virginia’s childhood friends, William Clapp, Brad Ryder, Kenny Harrison, Justin Green, and Daniel Tidwell infuse a distinctly American sensibility into their groove heavy brand of metal. Look for the bands Trustkill debut Singularity to hit on November 11, 2008. Recorded at Assembly Line Studios in Vienna, Virginia with Kevin "131" Gutierrez (Raven/Dysrhythmia) behind production, Singularity delivers ten tracks of intense, riff-heavy, bone-crushing power. This is the stuff metal fans have been dreaming about for years, and it couldn’t have come soon enough.Adversary - Metal

When the band was in the studio recording Singularity, powerhouse independent label Trustkill Records caught wind of them and without hesitation made them an offer, the band immediately inked the deal with the label. Together they plan to catapult this infectious, vitriolic sound into the consciousness of the heavy music adoring masses.

"When we started this band it was with the intention of doing everything, from songwriting to business, the right way. Accepting the offer from Trustkill was an easy decision. We now have on our side one of the biggest independent labels in the heavy music world, and one that understands what we have to offer to heavy music." - Brad Ryder (Adversary)

"It has been a long time since I’ve heard a band come out of nowhere with 10 songs of absolute metal perfection. Adversary are not the sound of today, they are the sound of tomorrow. Classic metal that even the most finicky of listeners will no doubt appreciate. We are excited to see what happens with Adversary when everyone hears the music!" - Josh Grabelle (Trustkill)

Adversary is the heirs-apparent to the throne left long-vacant by their declining domestic forefathers. While many bands are satisfied with wearing their influences on their sleeves, a select few are driven to surpass them.

Masses are advised to brace themselves, because we are surely entering the era of Adversary.

HM scores another record deal with client Luna Mortis

July 28 02:26 PM / Posted by jvardous in HM Blog

Luna MortisCentury Media Records is excited to announce the signing of the melodic, abrasive, technical and engaging LUNA MORTIS. The southern Wisconsin quintet prides itself on blurring genre lines to arrive at something both beautiful and aggressive. Their ability to capture a progressive and dark sound should appeal to metalheads regardless of their sonic inclinations

“All of us have been looking up to the artists on the CM roster for years, and to be a part of the family is truly amazing and humbling,” says vocalist Mary Zimmer. “We have put years of hard work into the band and it’s all finally paying off. To the fans that have been with us this far, keep expecting the same kick-ass metal. To people who are hearing of us for the first time, it’s nice to meet you and we’ll see you all out on the road!"

When you’re trying to break into the international music scene from Wisconsin you’re left to claw your way up yourself, and LUNA MORTIS did exactly that with the 2006 release of their self-produced LP, “Way of the Blade.” As the album made its way through the local grapevine the band had cemented enough of a regional reputation to generate label interest. They began a period of intensive demo production and showcasing, beginning with the recording of their EP, "The Answer: Does Not Exist" and culminating in the opportunity to cut four tracks with producer Jason Suecof (Trivium, Chimaira, All That Remains). These efforts ultimately found LUNA MORTIS a home at Century Media amongst a literal pantheon of some of the band’s most respected and admired influences.

As engaging as they are on record, LUNA MORTIS have largely built a following through their outstanding live show. Opening spots for Megadeth, Nevermore, Dream Theater and Children of Bodom have not only introduced the band to a significant number of crowds but also a diverse set of fans, too. Now, with the backing of one of metal’s largest and most enduring labels, the band looks outward, prepared to deliver their music to the world. Look for LUNA MORTIS’ Century Media debut in early 2009, and expect tour dates to be announced in the coming months.
